 Ok so our 3 night run of 'Thankyou For The Musicals 2' has finished and its both a sad and happy time as following what was a stressful few days the actual show nights were epic. 

The audiences on all three nights were fantastic, I don't think you realise sometimes the energy you give has a massive impact on the cast, especially the kids who I suspect are all still on the ceiling!

Again this show pushed us hard and maybe one or two were feeling it, I was! But to see the results when the curtain opened, the lights came on and the music started was amazing, to say it blew us all away is an understatement.

Plenty of smiles, cheer, laughter and tears and that was just me so with that I wish you all a fantastic summer and see you later in the year for what is a HUGE milestone for 'The Wyrley Pretender's' as we celebrate our 20th Anniversary performance with the pantomime 'Cinderella'.

Once again thankyou the audience for continuing to support The Wyrley Pretenders, and we look forward to seeing you all soon x

Wow after four fantastic shows this years panto has come to the end of the yellow brick road! Ah I hear you say, sadder than that.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh, see what I did there!

The feedback has made it all worthwhile and with a cast including several youngsters (and one not so young) performing for the first time what a success it was!

Saturday night was a fitting end to the panto run, as having two shows in a day it can be a challenge but everyone rose to it including you the audience!

In excess of 800 Pretenders supporters came along to kick off their Christmas festivities and we thank every one of you, some coming more than once! Oh yes they did!

To front of house, sound & lighting, back stage crew, costumes, scene builders, the cast and our society directors every effort was made to put on a panto for you all to enjoy.

Please keep one eye on the updates as our next show 'Thankyou For The Musicals 2' will be coming in May 2024.

How do you describe our final performance on Saturday night as once again the audience response gave us the energy to raise the bar once more..............

The kids were buzzing and along with the rest of the cast giving it there all one last time resulted in us smashing the tunes!

As with all shows there comes a time when it has to end and it was an emotional night, the efforts of all involved were huge as this show was a massive challenge for all.

To front of house, sound & lighting, back stage crew, costumes, scene builders, the cast and our society directors every effort was made to put on a memorable event for you all to enjoy.
